Senior Managers: To ensure the effective implementation of the policy and to hold supervisors and managers accountable for their specific responsibilities.

Line Managers/Supervisors: To implement the policy and to ensure that actions are taken as soon as possible to rectify any potential or actual hazards.

Workers: To co-operate and actively contribute to ensuring the effective implementation of the policy.

Environmental Policy – Newcastle Cut N Drill

  • Periodically review this policy and the environmental management system to ensure both remain relevant to our project.

Manager / Supervisor: Will ensure that areas under their control are maintained and managed in a healthy and safe condition and that the behaviour of all persons within the workplace is guided by the principles of Work Health and Safety.

 

Workers: Are required to co-operate and actively contribute to the health and safety of themselves and others within the workplace through consultation and commitment.

This policy will provide the framework for setting environmental objectives and targets within Newcastle Cut N Drill.

Work, Health & Safety Policy – Newcastle Cut N Drill

At Newcastle Cut N Drill our Work Health and Safety Policy is based on a belief that the well-being of people employed at work, or people affected by our work, is a major priority and must be considered during all work performed on our behalf.

 

People are our most important asset and their health and safety is our greatest responsibility. The public shall be given equal priority to that of our workers

 

The main objectives of our safety policy are:

  • To make health and safety an integral part of every managerial and supervisory position.
  • To ensure health and safety is considered in all planning and work activities.
  • To involve our workers in the decision making processes through regular communication, consultation and training.

  • To identify and control all potential hazards in the workplace through hazard identification and risk analysis.
  • To ensure all potential accident/incidents are controlled and prevented.
  • To provide effective injury management and rehabilitation for all workers.
